Doors

I finished my "Doors" prompt, which I believe was Sarah's final journal prompt before the याहू group started taking over the continuation।

I really like this one! My title...."God never closes a door, without opening another one for us to bloom in"....

The door on the left represents to me, the door closed shut. Sometimes it may be a good thing that ending, and I don't understand why....or sometimes it can be a bad thing that that has ended but has all of those ugly and scary loose ends attached to it. Change always sucks for me! I hate change. I've realized what a creature of habit I am!

The "new door" could be a new chance or beginning or opportunity. One that I could possibly "bloom" in. I guess the "new door" is a representation of hope. The flower on the right is actually a flower from a co-workers garden, that she gave me.... probably .... a month ago.
And here they are......

I love that you chose the word "bloom" rather than "open." The connotation lends a lovely image of a gentle unfolding that happens when the timing is right. We are all creatures of habit and have a tendency to stay where we feel comfortable and with what we know. Change can be so painful and scary yet the possibilities bring hope and excitement. You are blooming, I can see it in your work.

Thank you for sharing your authentic journey with us. We are lucky to have you as a {soul sister}.

Sandy - I love these doors. I am enthralled by the possibilities of doors and the saying is perfect. Can't wait to see more of your soul journal. Keep up the great work.
